Osteoradionecrosis of the mandible is seen in patients with previous radiotherapy for head and neck cancers.

The The changes maybe complicated by infection or  a pathological fracture.

Bisphosphonate therapy is also associated with mandibular osteonecrosis

Mandibular. Mandibular osteomyelitis can give a similar radiological appearance.
