Presentation

Minor cough and SOB.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

The lungs and pleural spaces are clear. Cardiomediastinal contours are normal allowing for projection. No pneumothorax or free subdiaphragmatic gas.

The right posterior seventh rib is mildly expanded and sclerotic with thickened cortices and without evidence of fracture or destructive lesion. This is longstanding and stable over a series of CXRs in the last 10 years.
