Large 70 HU mass in the superficial left parotid lobe; no involvement of the deep parotid. Mild adjacent fat stranding.
Normal appearance of the right parotid and both submandibular glands. No enlarged cervical lymph nodes.
Case Discussion
Bleeding after FNA is an uncommon complication (<2%). Whether this patient was at higher risk (e.g. anticoagulant therapy) is not known.
