Large well-defind intrasellar mass enlarging the sellar fossa with suprasellar extension, filling the optochiasmatic cistern and compressing the optic chiasma. It displays an isosignal to the cortical grey matter on both T1 and T2 with moderate and heterogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences. No extension to the cavernous sinuses. Normal diameter of the intracavernous internal carotid arteries.
