Abdominal pain and palpable mass in right upper quadrant

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Contrast enhanced CT of the abdomen shows numerous cysts that replace the parenchyma of the kidneys and liver, enlarging both organs. 

Case Discussion

This case shows typical features of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease with the kidneys and liver being affected by numerous cysts.
