Rasmussen aneurysm is a pseudoaneurysm caused by weakening of the pulmonary artery wall because of replacement of adventitia and media by granulation tissue in cavitatory tuberculosis. It is seen as an uncommon complication in 5% of patients with history of chronic cavitatory tuberculosis. HemoptysisHaemoptysis is the presenting feature and can be life threatening when massive.
