Stag-hornStaghorn or coral renal calculus ( coral calculus ) is a large renal stone filling the pelvis and more than one calyx, more prevalent. They are often associated with urine tract anomaly and recurrent UTI.
Stag-horn calculus needs to be removed surgically by PNCL ( First line treatment is usually percutaneous nephrolithotomy ) as first choise for most of patients based on the American Urological Association Guideline on the Management of Staghorn Calculi.
