Presentation

One week history of left hemiparesis.

Patient Data

Age: 90 years
Gender: Female
mri

Right frontotemporoparietal crescent-shaped subdural collection (maximum thickness = 32 mm)of a high signal on T1, T2 and FLAIR sequences with internal septation and sediment of low signal on T2, FLAIR and GE sequences in keeping with a late subacute subdural hematoma (methemoglobin free). A mass effect is noted on the midline structures with subfalcine herniation.

Cerebral volume loss with small vessel ischemic change.
