Triceps bony avulsion

There is a bony avulsion of the triceps tendon from the ulnar olecranon process. The central bone fragment measures about 15 x 10 mm and shows 17 mm retraction. Two smaller medial fragments show 10 mm retraction from the ulnar olecranon process. There is an extra-articular crater in the olecranon process. The triceps tendon is intact. The muscle shows a normal echopattern.
Case Discussion
The case shows post-traumatic triceps bony avulsion. Surgical fixation was done.
