Case Discussion

Spontaneous triplet pregnancy in a 25-year lady with previous single pregnancy and birth. Presently triplets were diagnosed on a routine ultrasound examination at six weeks of gestation.

Triplet pregnancy usually occurs following assisted reproductive technique. Spontaneous triplet pregnancies constitute only about 20% of triplet and higher-order multiple gestations. Ultrasound is the best modality to diagnose triplet pregnancy.
