A broad based osseous excrescence arising from the shaft of the middle phalanx of the index finger with corticomedullary continuity.

Turret exostosis, also known as acquired Osteochondroma, is a benign cartilaginous lesion. It is thought to be an unusual complication of reactive periostitis following minor trauma to the hand.
