Presentation

Poor urinary flow for 1 day.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Prevoid urine volume 414 cc. Post void volume was 280 cc.

Transperineal US shows a urethral stone.

Next day

x-ray

A radio-opaque shadow is seen overlying pubic symphysis joint space, consistent with the urethral calculus.

Case Discussion

USG was done first to look for urinary calculus. Transperineal US shows a urethral calculus.

Radiograph next day shows a calculus overlying pubic symphysis joint space.
