Body was changed:

Indication for this device are uncontrollable seizures on multiple medications, severe depression.

Always placed on one side, the left vagalvagus nerve.

Important to note that sternotomies are not always for cardiac pathology/procedures, here it is for a thymectomy presumably for a thymoma resection.
