Myofascial injury to distal vastus medialis with 3 cm craniocaudal length fiber disruption and involving 10-50% cross-sectional diameter. Mild myofascial edema
Case Discussion
Moderately severe partial tear to distal vastus medialis (BAC grade 2a). A good reminder that not all "knee injuries" are articular.
