Presentation
Past history of trauma; now presenting with pain and instability
Patient Data
High grade tear of mid segment and femoral attachment of anterior root ligament is seen.
Vertical longitudinal tear of posterior horn of lateral meniscus is seen, at junction of posterior horn and ligament of Wrisberg, extending to both articular surfaces.
Complex tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus is seen, likely reaching both articular surfaces.
Low grade sprain of medial collateral ligament.
Mild marrow edema is seen in lateral tibial condyle.
Moderate joint effusion.
Case Discussion
Vertical longitudinal tear of posterior horn of lateral meniscus is seen, at junction of posterior horn and ligament of Wrisberg, extending to both articular surfaces consistent with Wrisberg rip tear.
