Andrew Dixon

MBBS (Hons) FRANZCR

Andrew is a Consultant Radiologist and Director of Radiology Training at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. He has primary subspecialty expertise in neuroradiology, with secondary interests in musculoskeletal imaging and trauma radiology. 

He is a passionate radiology educator, having achieved international recognition for his courses including Radiopaedia's Trauma Radiology Course, Emergency Radiology Course, Medical Imaging Anatomy Course and Adult Brain MRI Review Course. His outreach efforts include the popular Radiology Channel on YouTube and the Radiology Signs project on social media. 

His major research interest is in the use of technology in radiology, including deep learning and the use of social media for radiology education.  He is currently Radiopaedia's academic director and an editorial board member with the Journal of the American College of Radiology.
