Andrew Murphy

Andrew Murphy is an accredited advanced practitioner radiographer with clinical positions at both the Queensland Children's Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.

He completed a Master of Medical Imaging Science specialising in Radiographic Image Interpretation at the University of Sydney and has worked in major adult and paediatric institutions in Canada and Australia. In 2023 Andrew was awarded fellowship of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.

He has spoken and run workshops on radiographic image interpretation at both radiography and radiology conferences and creates in-depth image courses for healthcare professionals worldwide, free in 125 low or middle-income countries.

Andrew is a co-convenor of the 2024 Radiopaedia Virtual Conference.
