Asymmetric large lateral and small medial trochlear facet. Bone bruising of medial patella and outer lateral femoral condyle. Partial disrupted medial patellofemoral retinaculum. Mild suprapatellar effusion.
Case Discussion
A series of morphometric measurements will aid in determining the etiology of patellofemoral instability. Assess the Insall Salvati ratio, lateral trochlear inclination, trochlear facet asymmetry and depth, trochlear sulcus angle and the touted TT-TG distance.
