There is a large avidly enhancing left CPA mass lesion which extends and widens the left internal auditory canal lesion with a mass effect on the left middle cerebellar peduncle and cerebellar hemisphere. The lesion has the characteristic ice cream on cone appearance and a central non-enhancing cystic portion. The lesion measures 2.6 x 2.4 x 2.1 cm in its maximum dimensions.
Case Discussion
MRI findings are consistent with a large left vestibular schwannoma. The enhancement within the IAC and the large intramural cyst makes the imaging diagnosis almost certain.
