Omental fat herniation through a narrow defect of the midline anterior abdominal wall at the umbilical orifice with associated fat stranding of herniated fat as well as the adjacent abdominal omental fat.
Case Discussion
CT features of an umbilical hernia containing omental fat with fat stranding.
The fat stranding within the hernia and narrow neck of the hernial sac suggest incarceration that was confirmed at surgery.
