Acute inflammation of the duodenal diverticulum is noted arising from the D2/D3 medially, with adjacent small pocket of contained perforation.
The pancreas appears normal.
Case Discussion
This should not be confused for pancreatitis.
The patient's lipase and amylase levels were normal.
The patient was managed conservatively for the acute duodenal diverticulitis.
