Abnormal subchondral bone marrow signal involves the left sacroiliac joint and displays the low signal on T1 and high signal on STIR images due to the acute inflammatory process (osteitis)
Minimum subchondral bone marrow oedematous changes on the right sacroiliac joint
Preserved joint space of ligaments and synovial parts of the sacroiliac joints
Normal shape and signal intensity of the muscle attachments
No enthesitis.
Case Discussion
MRI findings are consistent with left-sided acute sacroiliitis.
