Bifid anterior part of body (sternal end) of left 4th rib and the adjoining part of its costal cartilage.

Case Discussion

Bifid rib (forked rib) is a congenital variant with approximately 0.2% occurrence. It is usually asymptomatic, presented in this patient by asymmetry of chest wall.
