CT urogram of bifid ureters with a Hutch diverticulum.

Hutch diverticula are congenital bladder diverticula, seen at the vesicoureteric junction, in the absence of posterior urethral valves or neurogenic bladder. They occur almost exclusively in boys with an estimated prevalence of ~2%. Usually located anterolateral to the ureteral orifice and results from a weakness in the detrusor muscle. They are associated with vesico-ureteric reflux and infection.
