Planning CT performed with overlying marking grid. After local anaesthetic along the needle tracks, 22 gauge Quincke needles were inserted into the inferior aspects of both joints. Contrast confirmed intra-articular positions. Steroid injectate followed.
Case Discussion
Bilateral sacroiliac joint injections can be performed simultaneously with CT, potentially saving dose and time.
