Hip x-ray showing several well-defined calcified opacities in the pelvis, located at the seminal vesicles.
Case Discussion
The x-ray is compatible with multiple stones filling the seminal vesicles.
It is a rare pathology that may be associated with metabolic diseases such as diabetes or hyperparathyroidism. It has also been described in chronic bacterial infections such as tuberculosis.
The differential diagnosis includes seminal vesicle calcification, ejaculatory duct calcification and bladder calculus.
