Caroli's disease

Presentation

Presented with right pleural effusion. However, USG showed possibility of Caroli's disease as incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 70
Gender: Male
MRI

Multiple cystic lesions of varying sizes are seen scattered in both lobes of liver, and communicating with biliary tree. A left renal simple cyst is also noted.

Case Discussion

This case may represent Caroli's disease based on MR morphology, although diagnosis could not be confirmed.
