Presentation

Foot pain.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Normal bone density. Prominent navicular tuberosity; otherwise, morphology of the tarsals, metatarsals and phalanges is intact. No fracture, dislocation or significant soft tissue abnormality is seen.

Case Discussion

Findings are suggestive of cornuate navicular/Geist type 3 accessory navicular, which is an anatomical variant.
