The MRI sequences demonstrate an ovoid soft tissue mass of the right lower abdominal wall centered on the internal oblique muscle of intermediate signal intensity on T1WI, intermediate to high signal intensity on T2WI with intense and relatively homogeneous enhancement following IV contrast. It shows a high signal on DWI with low ADC (restricted diffusion). No other lesion is seen.
Case Discussion
The location and the MRI appearances are highly suggestive of a desmoid tumor.
