There is an 11 x 20 x 25 mm lesion at the right cerebellopontine angle with similar signal intensity to CSF on both T1 and T2 weighted sequences but is 'dirty' on FLAIR.
The lesion shows restriction on DWI images.
High signal foci on T2 and FLAIR sequences at periventricular white matter of the left cerebral hemisphere depict a microvascular ischaemic event.
A retention cyst is present in the left maxillary sinus.
Case Discussion
Typical appearances of an epidermoid cyst at the right cerebellopontine angle.
