Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Complaining of localised pain in the left lumbar region for the last 2 days. No loin to groin pain/ dysurea/ haematuria/ diarrhoea/ fever.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

In the region of pain pointed by the patient (left lumbar region), there is an ovoid, non-compressible, hyperechoic mass, abutting colon. There is no calcification/ cystic change/ vascularity. It measures about 55 x 35 x 30 mm. There is a local mass effect on the colonic wall without bowel wall thickening/ ascites. There are no signs of diverticulum/ diverticulitis.

The rest of the abdominal ultrasound was normal.
