Case Discussion
Faecaloma is hardened accumulated faeces at the rectum or sigmoid colon. The diagnosis is important not only to avoid confusion with neoplasm but also to alert the physician to the possibility of complications such as perforation, obstruction, ulceration, or stercoral colitis.
