Wedge-shaped area of high T2 and FLAIR signal with restricted diffusion involving the left inferior medial aspect of the pons with no haemorrhagic component seen on GE sequence.

Case Discussion
MRI features of infarction involving the medial inferior aspect of the pons, known as Inferior medial pontine syndrome or Foville syndrome, secondary to occlusion of the paramedian branches of the basilar artery.
