Age: Elderly
Gender: Male

The brain CT demonstrate an enhancing intra-axial mass at the left parietal lobe. 

mri

The MRI shows this lesion to have a low T1 signal intensity and intermediate to high T2 signal intensity associated with significant vasogenic edema which is also seen on the CT images. Moderate restriction of diffusion. The lesion enhances avidly post administration of IV contrast. 

Case Discussion

Pathologically proven glioblastoma.

Note: IDH mutation status is not provided in this case and according to the current (2016) WHO classification of CNS tumors, this tumor would, therefore, be designated as a glioblastoma NOS
