Case Discussion

Gossypiboma is a type of foreign body granuloma or a mass of cotton or sponge that is left behind in a body cavity during surgery. The presence of internal spongiform appearance, gas bubbles, and peripheral enhancing capsule, along with the history of previous Caesarean section, confirms the diagnosis of Gossypiboma.
