There is an irregularly shaped elongated anechoic 84 x 31 mm encapsulated fluid collection in the right inguinal region. There was no communication with the peritoneal cavity. No changed with the Valsalva manoeuvre.
Case Discussion
Hydrocele of the canal of Nuck is a rare diagnosis caused by a cogentital failure of complete obliteration of the canal of Nuck. Clinically it appears as a mass causing mild pain or a painless swelling in the inguinal region.
