Presentation

Suspected ingestion of a foreign body.

Patient Data

Age: 3 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Well-defined circular radioopaque foreign body (metallic density) is seen in the region of the stomach at the level of the L3 vertebral body in keeping with a coin.

No signs of perforation or obstruction.

Both Lungs are clear with no atelectasis. 

Lateral projection not available.
