A solitary well defined, rounded and metallic foreign body, apparently localised in the left upper quadrant. There are no evident signs of pneumoperitoneum, pneumothorax or pneumoediastinum.
Case Discussion
Ingestion of a foreign body is extremely common among children, specially those between 6 months and 3 years old. Usually the foreign bodies pass spontaneously in the gastrointestinal tract without complications.
