Presentation

Right thigh swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
ct

There is a ~17 x 7 x 6.5 cm sized well-defined oval-shaped soft tissue lesion in the right thigh region involving the right iliacus and anterior group of the thigh muscles. It has interspersed fatty areas within it. Marked vascularity is seen within the lesion with prominent dilated arteries from the right external iliac, common, superficial, and deep femoral arteries, and venous drainage into the femoral veins.

The histomorphological features are suggestive of intramuscular angioma.
