Intrapancereatic splenule


A case of colorectal cancer metastatic to the liver. Follow-up post metastasectomy.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Well defined rounded soft tissue nodules related to the tail of the pancreas is seen following enhancement pattern of the spleen in all phases likely representing small intrapancreatic splenule.

Case Discussion

The diagnosis of an accessory splenule can be confirmed by sulphur colloid scan.
