Updates to Case Attributes
Not all cancers grow aggressively or quickly. This is a case of a slow growing IDC-growing invasive ductal carcinoma, histology confirmed.
As a general rule, the older post menopousal-menopausal ladies have less aggressive, more indolent cancerscancers while the converse is true for young pre menipousal-menopausal cancers. I said General Rule.
WhichThis is wewhy some of us feel screen annually before 50 and then twice a year.
This case also illustrates the misnomer of "overdiagnosis"
