Left inguinal hernia on abdominal x-ray

Bowel loops projects over and below the left inferior pubic ramus in keeping with a left inguinal hernia. No evidence of obstruction or pneumoperitoneum.
Case Discussion
The inguinal hernia was also apparent clinically.
This area of the an abdominal x-ray is a check area as it is rare but important site of positive findings.
