No trauma-related injuries. Incidental note of fusion of the lunate and triquetral carpal bones is seen consistent with lunotriquetral coalition.
Case Discussion
Carpal coalition is a common normal variant that is usually discovered incidentally on radiographs done for unrelated reasons. It usually develops between two carpal bones in the same arc raw e.g. lunatotriquetral or capitohamate coalition.
