Focal stenosis of the proximal coeliac trunk is noted secondary to extrinsic compression from a thickened median arcuate ligament with moderate dilatation of the post-stenotic segment.
Case Discussion
CT features are most consistent with a median arcuate ligament syndrome due to coeliac trunk compression by a thickened median arcuate ligament. Usually, the patient presents a chronic abdominal pain, aggravated by supine position.
