Case Discussion

The appearance of the large normal thymus gland in paediatrics should be familiar to the radiologist and not be mistaken for a pathology. on CT, it appears quadrilateral with convex borders in children younger than 5 years. As the child grows, it gets smaller in size and becomes triangular in appearance with straight or concave borders.
