Small bowel obstruction characterized by dilated loops and multiple air-fluid levels. Gastric distension also noted. There is a right obturator hernia containing a small loop of small bowel, which is the transition point.
The patient proceeded to laparotomy by which time the hernia had sponataneously reduced. A small jejunal tear was repaired as was a 1 cm defect in right obturator foramen.
