Small fracture fragments at the very distal tip of the fibula and lateral to the talus with associated surrounding haematoma.
Incidental os peroneum and accessory navicular bone.
Case Discussion
It is important to be aware of accessory bones like the os peroneum and the accessory navicular bones to be able to confidently differentiate between fractures and accessory bones, especially in trauma cases such as in this case.
