Presentation

Secondary infertility for 8 years. Incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

Numerous well-defined small sclerotic foci are present throughout the pelvic bones.

Normal filling of the uterine cavity and the fallopian tubes, with contrast medium in the peritoneal cavity.

Case Discussion

Osteopoikilosis is a rare, inherited benign condition characterized by multiple benign enostoses found on skeletal X-rays. Its correct diagnosis is important to avoid misinterpretation as pathology.
