Presentation

Acute abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 36 years
Gender: Female
ct

Acutely inflamed blind ending tubular right iliac structure in keeping with the appendix with a large appendicolith, wall defect and markedly dilated lumen.

Marked stranding of the surrounding fat planes with fluid collection and abscess formation.

Multiple moderately enlarged reactive lymph nodes.

Significant dorso-lumbar scoliotic deformity
