Age: 80 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

S/P left THR. Suspicion of periprosthetic fracture through the medial aspect of the proximal shaft of the femur. Mild OA of the right hip. 

Case Discussion

This is a nice example of a "corner of the film" abnormality. The additional images confirm the suspicion of a periprosthetic fracture.
